With the Captain Sorb Laundry Bag, we offer safe and odorless storage of dirty laundry when traveling.
The integrated activated carbon layer prevents the transmission of odors from worn laundry to fresh clothing, e.g. in suitcases and travel bags. The laundry bag is also ideal for storing fresh clothes in an odorous environment. Light weight and small footprint make it a perfect companion for everyday life.
The “Captain Sorb” product family from helsa® offers a new type of functionality for storing and transporting high-quality clothing and shoes.
Unpleasant odors are removed from clothing and shoes without the use of chemicals. Thanks to their odor-absorbing function, the “Captain Sorb” products also ensure maximum comfort for storage when traveling or for the protection of seasonal clothing.
APPLICATION
Put your laundry in the Captain Sorb Laundry Bag for about 12-24 hours and unwanted odors are removed without the use of chemicals or harmful substances.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The Captain Sorb products are basically washable at 30 ° on a gentle cycle. In order to optimally preserve the effect of the activated carbon material, however, we recommend - provided there is no physical contamination - the care treatment in the tumble dryer. A treatment in the tumble dryer kills germs and bacteria, at the same time the activated carbon is regenerated. Bound odor molecules are loosened during the drying process and removed by the exhaust air.
WORKING WAY
The inner workings of the “Captain Sorb” products have an activated carbon coating, so that gaseous impurities, which we perceive as bad smells, are adsorbed, i.e. absorbed. Through a finely branched network of channels and pores, activated carbon offers a very large, inner surface. There odor molecules are absorbed and bound.
The activated carbon in a Captain Sorb garment cover, for example, has an inner surface of more than 100,000 m². That corresponds roughly to the area of 14 soccer fields. Gas molecules that cause odor when escaping from clothing or shoes “dock” inside the activated carbon grain, are retained and therefore not perceived as an odor. Captain Sorb garment and protective sleeves offer you comfortable protection and pleasant freshness.
